🇮🇳 Our Story — Born from Bharat, Built for Bharat

We are
Limo Jobs.
We belong to
every Indian.

We started with a simple question: why does a worker from Gorakhpur have to arrive in Mumbai alone, broke, and confused — when the city he's heading to desperately needs him? That question became Limo Jobs.

हम भारत के लिए, भारत के साथ, भारत के लोगों के द्वारा।

The Origin Story

A train journey.
A realisation.
A company.

It began on a train from Varanasi to Mumbai. Our founder sat across from Ramesh — 22 years old, first time leaving home, carrying a broken suitcase and the address of a cousin he'd never met written on a scrap of paper. He had no job lined up. No idea where to go from CST Station.

The conversation revealed everything: Ramesh wanted to do delivery work, he had a bike at home he'd sold to fund the trip, he had a valid Aadhaar, and he spoke no Marathi. He had no idea how to register on Zomato. He had every qualification needed and no pathway to use any of it.

Meanwhile, the founder's phone showed notification after notification from Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy: "Delivery partner demand HIGH in your area." The mismatch was right there, on a train, between a seat and a phone screen.

"What if there was a system that found Ramesh before he left Varanasi, trained him in Bhojpuri before he boarded the train, had someone meet him at CST, and had him earning on Blinkit by Day 2?"

— Limo Jobs Co-Founder, on the train from Varanasi to Mumbai, 2023

That question became Limo Jobs. We spent 8 months in the field — riding with Zomato riders in Dharavi, sleeping in UP migrant PGs in Malad, interviewing 400+ workers across 6 cities. Every feature, every language, every service is built from what they told us they needed.

The Train from Varanasi

The conversation that started everything. A 22-year-old migrant worker, a Blinkit notification, and the question that wouldn't go away: why is this so hard?

What We Stand For

Mission. Vision. Purpose.

🎯
Our Mission

To make India's gig economy accessible, safe, and dignified for every worker — in their own language.

We exist to eliminate the invisible barriers — language, information, geography, trust — that separate millions of willing workers from millions of open jobs. Every worker deserves to be met where they are.

🔭
Our Vision

A Bharat where no worker arrives in a new city alone, unprepared, or without a community waiting for them.

We envision a future where the journey from a village in Bihar to a livelihood in Bangalore is supported, dignified, and enriching — not terrifying, exploitative, and isolating as it is today for far too many.

💫
Our Purpose

To be the infrastructure of opportunity for India's 150 million migrant workers.

Not just a platform. Not just a job board. The trusted, always-available, multilingual companion that walks with every worker from their home village to their first delivery, and all the years between.

Our Values

What we believe in.
Every single day.

🗣️

Language is Dignity

When we speak to someone in their mother tongue, we tell them: you matter, your identity matters, and this platform was built for you — not just adapted for you. We will never treat Hindi as a substitute for Bhojpuri.

🤝

Trust Before Transaction

Every feature we build starts with a question: does this increase the worker's trust in us? A worker who trusts us will stay, grow, and bring their family. A worker who merely uses us will leave the moment a ₹50 better offer appears.

📊

Radical Transparency

We tell workers exactly what they can realistically earn — not the platform's marketing maximum. We show employers exactly what our workers cost and what they deliver. Honesty is our only long-term business model.

👩

Women First, Always

Women's inclusion in the gig economy requires more than lip service. It requires housing guarantees, female mentors, safety infrastructure, and zero tolerance for harassment. We build all of it — before we ask women to join.

⚖️

Worker Dignity Non-Negotiable

We will never allow a platform partner to exploit the supply we create. Minimum earnings transparency, insurance, and community support are non-negotiable conditions of every partnership we sign.

🌱

Long-Term Over Short-Term

Building genuine loyalty takes years. We are not optimising for monthly placement numbers. We are optimising for the worker who is still with Limo Jobs in five years, who has bought their bike, who is training the next generation.
